How To Cure Warts On Your Feet

Warts on your feet, otherwise known as plantar warts are notorious for being very stubborn and painful at the same time. While there are many options out there for removing your plantar warts, it is important to realize that some work better than others. In this article I will discuss the various methods for removing feet warts and help you to decide which remedy is best for you!

Many natural wart remedies require that you cover your warts with a bandage for a period of time (usually overnight). This procedure can be difficult for plantar warts because it is easy for the bandage to come off in the middle of the night when you are asleep. Accordingly, it is recommended that you freeze the wart if it is in a difficult spot to use a bandage.

Although freezing warts is seen as generally effective in terms of short-term wart removal, it is sometimes not exactly a cure. After you freeze the warts on your feet, it could take anywhere from 7-14 days for the wart to actually fall off. When this happens, it would be in your best interest to treat the skin in that area with a natural wart removal product. Doing this will help you to stay wart free for life!

Some wart sufferers are reluctant to use freezing methods because it can be somewhat painful. Remember that the skin on your feet is generally more coarse and rough than other areas of your body. Having said this, it will hurt much less to freeze plantar warts than finger warts or genital warts.
